Data Vis example 3 of my beat

This visualization tells the story of endangered gorillas, and interesting facts about them. In comparison to the other to examples I have chosen, this one is more graphic and design heavy. For example there are more colors, sizes, shapes and images in this visualization than the others. This graphic doesn’t exacly focus on the endangerment entirely , rather it gives facts about the animal. The most important fact about endangerment is the middle yellow petal, that explains the population decrease over the years. I enjoy this graphic because it uses images to tell several small stories at once about the gorilla. The point of this is to get people to give money and ‘adopt’ a gorilla, I do think that it will accomplish that based on the infomration shown.
