when you weren’t in my life?

A time without me, without my smile.

It’s not so long ago, just a month, maybe two.

But even then

I don’t want to imagine a life without you.

You’re not a staple more like a sweet treat

Not a need, just a want

I like your smile and how you make me feel

I like your laugh and the way you speak

So I’d rather enjoy now.
