GET is HTTP method, that requests server for a specified resource. So it is request -respond client-server typed method.
How it works in underneath. How its guts look like.
Launch some local server and sniff with Wireshark.
… and start the server
Then I can pick localhost to start capturing packets from it with Wireshark
At last some filter packets to see only HTTP pockets just by typing “http” in the filter.
And now we can make a request
So Wireshark caught 2 packets, one from client request
and another one with server respond
